KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION for September 2019 is starting! The first step is to pre-register your child by filling out a brief questionnaire at www.miltonps.org. Then Kindergarten Information Night will be held on Thursday, January 24th at 6:30pm at Milton High School. The final step is to attend Kindergarten Registration (by appointment on February 12th, 13th, 14th) with your completed registration packet that you will receive on January 23rd at information night. Please email Laurie Dunn at firstname.lastname@example.org with questions.
Cold Weather Clothes: At this time of year it can be challenging to know how to dress your child for school. The forecast says 60 degrees, but there is a frost on the windshield and your car’s thermostat is a chilly 35 degrees in the morning. At The Village School we go outside everyday (except for extreme temperatures or weather) and often early in the day before things have started to warm up. Please send your child with appropriate outerwear – jackets, hats, mittens, and keep their cubby stocked with an extra set of seasonally appropriate clothing.
Village School is Nut-Free: Please pack only lunches that are free of nut products for lunch bunch and extended day. Thank you!
Traffic Safety: Please exercise caution and vigilance at drop-off and pick-up times. Take care to enter and exit children from cars on the sidewalks and walkways. We continue to work with the town and DPW on traffic calming measures around the Village School, and appreciate your attention to this very important matter.
Our whole family has become a part of the Village School. With annual events like the Halloween Parade and the Auction, there are so many ways to be involved and for kids and grown-ups to have fun.”
