CLASSROOM PARENT OPPORTUNITY: Please email Karen Belmonte (mom of Taylor, classroom 1 MWF) at  by September 30th for more information on this terrific way to be involved at The Village School. We need at least 2 volunteers for each classroom (classroom 1 TTh, classroom 1 MWF, classroom 2, and classroom 3.) Classroom parents act as liaisons between the Board and parents in each class and help communicate information regarding upcoming events, recruit volunteers when needed, and encourage involvement for all parents in their child’s school experience. Primary responsibilities include hosting 1 or 2 parent coffees, providing 1 teacher appreciation lunch, coordinating teacher gifts, and organizing classroom gift for auction.

IMPORTANT REMINDER: The Village School is nut-free and new this year SESAME FREE.  Please do not pack any food items for lunch bunch or extended day that list nuts or sesame as ingredients, INCLUDING HUMMUS. Thank you for your attention to this important matter.

Our whole family has become a part of the Village School. With annual events like the Halloween Parade and the Auction, there are so many ways to be involved and for kids and grown-ups to have fun.”
